Latepost: Outfit of the Day (OOTD)

If you have an Instagram account, you probably have seen the hashtags #ootd or #ootn before. If you're not familiar with them, they stand for "outfit of the day/night." They are personally one of my favorite hashtags to use because, well, I love clothes and when I have a nice outfit, I like to showcase it. Many times I worked hard on creating the look so why not post about it?

Anyway, so a new segment that I'll be adding to my blog are #ootd or #ootn posts! Hopefully at least once a week I'll be posting a post on what I wore that day to highlight the pieces I used and to hopefully give you ladies ideas for future outfit ideas! (Sorry boys, I'll try to use my boyfriend or his friends for guys' inspired ootd/n posts in the future!)

So... Onto the actual first ootd post!

Yesterday was Sunday, and on Sundays, if you haven't guessed already, I go to church in the mornings. I like dressing up for church because I don't dress up too much on a daily basis, so I like to look extra nice on Sundays. Besides, I could never pass up an opportunity to dress up [:

Here's my look:

  • Baby blue short-sleeved dress with white hearts and short love phrases, Cotton On, originally $30, on sale for $10
  • Brown flats from Payless Shoesource, price unknown (I bought them during my junior year of high school!)
  • Mint green flower studs from Forever 21 (got it as a gift)

There you have it! That's the gist of how my ootd posts will go, and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or comments! Better yet, leave a comment for me in the box below!

Stay classy & sassy [;

Haha just kidding, I just wanted to have a clever signing off phrase, but I'm sure someone took that one already. Haha.

  1. Love this look! In future ootd posts, you should provide links of where to buy the pieces, or similar pieces!
