Top 5 Macy's Shoe Lust List

I wish I could have all the shoes.

It is the last and final week of the Macy's Campus Tour! How am I ending this series? Well, why not end with the last thing you put on you before heading out for the day: shoes! 

If you know me, it won't take long to realize my love for shoes. While I love all clothes and fashion in general, I have a special place in my heart just for shoes. 

I was searching through Macy's mobile app one day and I was admiring all of the beautiful shoes that Macy's mstylelab carries. They have so many cute things, I wish I wasn't just limited to the $100 I was provided a few weeks ago! These 5 pairs (pictured above) were my tops!

From the top left: 

1. Jessica Simpson Oxford Flats: I've had a slight obsession with cut-out shoes lately, and shoes with all of the cutouts with the lines like these have been on my mind lately. I. Want. Them.

2. Report Simba Two-piece Flats: These also look like cut-outs, even though they are much smaller than the previous shoe. I have also been a fan of two-piece flats for a while, and I love that they are finally becoming a thing!

3. Rocket Dog Bena Huarache Flats: I've also been a fan of this style of shoes since I first spotted these at Downtown LA's Olvera Street. I've been searching for a pair to call my own ever since. 

4. Chinese Laundry Raven Platform Wedge Sandals: I've always liked the clog-type of sandals/shoes, and these are just like that! They're not completely wedges (but basically are), which makes them super comfortable, and they are high, which is how I like my heels! As a short girl, shoes that will make me look taller are a must for me. 

5. Steve Madden Cori Cut Out Oxford Flats: I love Steve Madden Shoes, and as I said before, I love cut-out shoes. These shoes are the perfect combination of the two. They remind me a little bit of my old roommate's oxfords that she has (Shoutout to you, Melissa), and I've always liked them. They looked a lot like these except these ones have cut-outs. 

All of these shoes have some sort of cut-out element and somewhat resemble a full-on, "normal" shoe (except the wedges), but the cut-outs give them a unique flair that I like in my shoes. And there is also a lot of brown. I prefer brown over black in shoes most of the time; I don't know why. 

These shoes would be perfect for almost any school function, whether it needs to be dressed up or down! A girl can dream.

Spring Wish List with Macy's Mstylelab

Spring is almost here! That means another excuse to go shopping! Although I really enjoyed having the opportunity to shop for the things I did get from Macy's, of course there are still more things I would've loved to have snagged up if I got the chance. This is my Macy's wish list on the #macyscampustour. 

From left to right, top to bottom: 

Guess Lace Peplum Top: This top is cute, but the hints of lace make it just a little bit sexy without being over the top. The sweetheart neckline underneath the lace and the peplum shape make this top flattering to any figure! The sleeveless cut also makes the top ready for spring despite the dark color. 

Say What? Juniors' Lace Cropped Top: Okay, so lately I've been really obsessed with crop tops! I recently got a couple (including one from Macy's mstylelab) and although growing up I never liked the style of these kinds of specific crop tops (I always felt they were tacky and choking the person wearing the top), so many different stores have done amazing jobs at making these tops look chic enough to wear anywhere! 

Bar III Field Jacket: Military-inspired pieces are great to toughen up any outfit. I also feel that having some kind of cover up (cardigans, vests, etc) help in completing an outfit, and I love the feel that military-style jackets give when thrown over any outfit. 

Speechless Juniors' Lace Shift Dress: Lace is such a hot accent to any outfit right now, and I love how it looks on dresses! The shape of this dress is very simple, but the exposed arms underneath the lace add a little cute and sexy touch to the dress. 

Levi's Juniors' Dark Cropped Jeans: Because I am so short, my jeans normally bunch at the bottom, but for me, cropped jeans are especially nice because they fit me and the length is just right! I tried on these jeans when I last went to Macy's so they are still short enough to be cropped for me. I feel like denim is the easiest way to make any outfit casual and wearing it cropped with some flats creates a polished look that I love. 

Material Girl Juniors' Lace Romper: Okay first of all, I love the color of this! Orange is my favorite color so when I see pieces that are within that color family and look really cute I always fall in love. This roomper looks like a dress and has a pretty basic spaghetti-strap shape so I can easily add a cardigan on top or some tights underneath. I also really love the bustier-style neckline in the front.

Two Ways to Wear: Tribal Print Crop Top

So it is now week four of the #macyscampustour, and today I will be styling my final item from Macy's, the tribal printed crop top. If you've missed any of my other Macy's Campus Tour posts, you can check them out here.

For the past couple of weeks I've been dressing up and down each of the tops I bought from Macy's mstylelab, and this week I'm styling my favorite outfits of the three tops! Which one would you wear? 

Two Ways to Wear: Knitted Sweater

So I am currently in Oregon for my university's choir tour, and I brought one of my new favorite sweaters along with me from Macy's mstylelab! As part of week 3 of #macyscampustour, I'm styling the knitted sweater I got from my Macy's haul in a dressy and casual way today.

To Dress Up: Most skirts dress up any kind of top, depending on the fabric. Unless your sweater is cropped, the top can normally be rocked untucked, just like I did for this outfit! Even when dressed up, one could still wear this for a casual setting depending on how their own personal style is. 

Perfect for relaxing.

To Dress Down: It is really simple. Just switch out the skirt with leggings and as long as your sweater is long enough, then I say it's appropriate to wear! The outfit is just easy and comfortable. Simple as that.

I love sweaters! Since I'm currently in the Pacific Northwest for choir tour, this is basically all I'm wearing: sweaters and leggings. How would you style this sweater?

Two Ways to Wear: Blush Pink Embellished Tank

Remember last week when I posted about all the cool stuff I got from Macy's mstylelab? Well the next three weeks (including this week) of the #macyscampustour I'll be spotlighting one of the tops I got and two different ways to style each top: dressy and casual. Those cute boots I got? Don't worry, they'll be featured in all of my outfits!

This week I wanted to style my pink tank top with embellished pockets! It's a simple top that has one element that stands out, which is what attracted me to it. Because of its simplicity, it's also really easy to dress up or down. 

To dress down: I'd say that it's pretty simple: add jeans. In any outfit, adding denim in any form (jeans or jackets) will automatically make that look more casual. 

In the case of this outfit, I used some gray jeans that I cuffed with a cardigan and my booties to keep the outfit simple.

To dress up: Most skirts can do the trick, depending on the fabric. I've used a chiffon hi-low skirt with an elastic waist to accentuate my natural waist. I added some blush pink platform heels to elongate my legs and to keep the flow of the outfit going. Whether you want to tuck in the top or not is up to you--I have done both with this outfit--but I prefer tucking it in for this.

Macy's // American Rag Haul!

Spring is coming soon, and usually that means spring cleaning and time to update your wardrobe! It's time to put away coats and thick layers and time to bring out bright items, just in time for spring and #macyscampustour!

I prioritized the pieces I have below, and if I had extra money, that would've been when I'd get other things. My favorite investment is in the ankle booties. They have cut-outs on the sides and I could not be more in love.

Everything is comfortable and essentially a basic with little details to make it different! All the pieces are easy to style, and next week I will be featuring a few looks and ways to style these pieces.
