Find Me Elsewhere!

I love to write. Hence why this blog exists. And while I haven't written one yet, I also hope to write a novel one day.

Back in June, I talked about why I write and why I love it and why this blog exists. Long story short, I love to talk. It sounds very self-centered but I promise you, there is more to it than that.

If you're interested in reading more about my writing and the types of writing I do, I write for my university newspaper & for my school's website. I am a section editor and a student blogger.
If I could, I would totally write for sites like Relevant Magazine or even Brit + Co, but I currently don't have the time to do so. I'm hoping that will change over the next few months.

Writing is one of the best ways for me to relax. I love the idea of writing down or imagining a full-on story in my head. Reading and writing actually both work in relaxing me any day.

(By the way, if you've noticed, I've made a couple changes to the blog! What do you think of them? Oh, and I'm relaunching sponsorships on the blog! Check out my sponsors page if you're interested in getting lots of love from me!)
If you're a blogger, do you write elsewhere other than your blog? If you're not a blogger, have you ever considered getting your opinion out there, whether through blogging or social media?

  1. I want to write a novel too! I'm actually taking part in NaNoWriMo this year - my aim being 30,000 words as opposed to 50,000 tho - and its pretty exciting, hopefully I can reach my goal! Ever think of taking part?

  2. Your blog looks better than ever! I'm so happy you find solace in writing - I totally do too :) I am personally SO much better at getting my opinion across via keyboard. I'm so grateful we live in an age where that is the norm, because writing by hand (and liking what I've come up with) is so tough for me!

  3. I don't currently. I'm looking into writing an ebook, but I'm just not there yet.

  4. I love the changes to the blog! Writing is so therapeutic to me so it's only natural that I blog (that and because I had a little direction) but it's awesome that you have different types of outlets!

  5. I tend to write sometimes on my tumblr blog, but not much. I also keep my own journal, which I absolutely love. It's so therapeutic to write down your thoughts, even if you're the only one who will be reading them.

  8. Thanks, Sarah! :] I'm glad that you feel the same way about writing as I do!

  9. I keep a journal as well! It's so nice to just get your thoughts out there, even if no one is listening. It's so nice especially when you're not feeling great about something (or even someone) because no one has to know.
